We went to Cardiff this week to look after Maggie and Gruff. They are so much fun and are so funny.
We walked from town through the park and looked at the flowers in bloom and did a little bit of duck spotting. We had a bit of a pit stop at the chapter where Maggie and Gruff had some food, we all had a drink and a little bit of a rest.
Once we had recharged our batteries we were off again, playing hide and seek with bunny along the way, Maggie found it hilarious! We got to Victoria park and Maggie, bunny and myself played on the swings and the slides while Evs and baby Gruff chilled out on the grass.
Home was just around the corner, so we headed back for food, nappy changes and to unwind. Maggie entertained us by performing 'yellow submarine' on her tiny toddler size acoustic guitar (quite possibly one of the cutest things I have ever seen) while baby Gruff bounced away in his door bouncer, ( another contender for one of the cutest things ever witnessed )
After food it was pyjama, story and bed time ( for the kids ) once they were both tucked in and having baby dreams it was food time for the grown ups. Once we had eaten I passed out.
Looking after children is tiring, but looking after two, is exhausting! But, it was worth it. I had a lovely time, and I am pretty sure that Evs did also.
