I will have them all!

This morning my mum took me and Evs to many tears rescue in Llanelli.  We have been talking about getting a dog for a while and now that we are all settled in our new house we decided to take our first trip to many tears. I was so excited, I have been looking at their website dreaming of the day I could have a dog of my own for so long.
We took with us, six bags of shredded paper, some old bed sheets and duvet covers and about 15 meters of fleece for them to cut up into dog blankets.
Evs was worried it was going to be heart breaking seeing them all locked away but, fortunately it wasn't . All of the dogs seemed happy, their kennels were all very clean and all looked healthy and had space to run  around and most of them had a friend to bunk up with.
As we were going around we jotted down the names of the ones we loved the most. It felt awful leaving names off the list but some we just knew wouldn't fit in with our lives.
So now we need to shorten our list even further, and it is tough.

Billy-whiz was one of the last dogs we saw. I have seen him online and knew he had been hard to home. but, seeing him in his kennel and how much he loved me tickling his head it was hard to believe he hated cats and would hunt them out given the chance and he is an escape artist, jumping out of windows and over fences to get away, so unfortunately Billy is off the list.

Foxy! I thought foxy was the one. He is a beautiful one year old collie. He was sharing the kennel with two other collie crosses. He was so calm and affectionate. He was perfect, however, when we got home and read his description, he suffers from separation anxiety and would be better going to  home with another dog to keep him company. I hope he finds the most perfect home because he is incredible.

These three ( from left to right) Zeta, Toby and Serina, were all really cute and we all thought they would be perfect but, because the chosen dog, will have to stay on its on once or twice a week for a couple of hours, the rescue wouldn't let us home a puppy, so sorry you lot, you are all off the list too, but, puppies are much easier to home so I am sure these three will find lovely forever homes.

These two Florette (left) and Benson (right) were both awesome, but, they are both old. Even though they are both currently healthy they are both set in their ways and as the saying goes, you can't teach an old dog new tricks. Neither of us have ever owned a dog before so it is important we pick a dog that is easily trained.

This is Heidi, she is beautiful! We had both seen her online and loved her. We thought she had been re-homed so when we saw her today, me and evs looked at each other and we were both very excited, and then we read the sign, 'don't let her into the yard' and then we remembered she jumps super high, over 6ft! Which seems crazy for such a little dog.
So, unfortunately, she is off the list too.
So these are all of the dogs that are unfortunately off the list.
